Amazing. I think I could have skipped all of college English and just attended Ben’s three hour program.

I learned more in that three hours than I did in my year-long legal writing class. He also made it as entertaining as a writing seminar could be.

This was the best writing workshop I’ve ever attended.

In contrast to most writing seminars I’ve attended, Ben’s engaging style and humor make his seminars not only informative but enjoyable.  His detailed analysis of the writing process, combined with simple pointers to help with everyday writing, helped improve the quality of my work a great deal.

Ben has a method of teaching that is as engaging as it is educational.  He infuses human sensibility into every facet of his curriculum.  Borrowing from examples across genres, Ben deconstructs the elements of good writing in an informative and interesting way.  From grammar and style to subtle persuasion, there is always something to learn.  And in his coaching sessions, he was willing to dig deeply into my writing to improve my work product.  I am a better writer for having worked with him.

Ben Opipari is a phenomenal presenter.  His workshop on clear and effective writing was one of the best of our WALRAA annual programs.  The subject matter was very helpful and was made even more useful by the fact that Ben took the time to tailor his examples to his audience. He achieves the seemingly impossible task of making the learning of writing skills highly entertaining through his engaging and witty personal style.

Ben conducted two days of seminars for our law students.  He is an incredibly dynamic speaker who keeps students riveted.  Our students learned about writing, persuasion, and grammar in an upbeat and enjoyable atmosphere.

I’ve always found Ben’s seminars to be very beneficial.  I’ve seen him several times, having team taught writing seminars for first year attorneys.  His strength is in his ability to both engage attendees and foster discussion among them, which is obviously a much more effective way than just a straight ahead lecture. He also manages to impart advice about legal writing that I haven’t heard anyone else give.

Ben’s experience with legal writing enables him to not only make lawyers better writers, but also better communicators.  His use of writing samples and humor makes improving your writing enjoyable.  And Ben’s ability to dissect your writing sample and help you rebuild it in a better, more powerful form demonstrates the effectiveness of implementing his skills and methods.  No attorney should go without attending one of his seminars.
